Description

Succulent pork chops pan-seared to perfection, smothered in a creamy garlic herb sauce, perfect for creating unforgettable moments at the dinner table.


Ingredients

  • 4 pork chops (bone-in or boneless)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat a cast iron skillet over medium-high heat. Add olive oil.
  2. Season pork chops with salt and pepper, then sear for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  3. Transfer pork chops to a plate and let rest, loosely covered with foil.
  4. In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic for 30 seconds, then add chicken broth and scrape up any browned bits.
  5. Simmer for 2-3 minutes, then stir in the heavy cream, rosemary, and thyme, and let simmer until thickened, about 5 minutes.
  6. Return pork chops to the skillet, coating them in sauce, and warm through for an additional minute before serving.

Notes

Let the pork rest for 30 minutes before cooking for best results. You can make it ahead and reheat gently when serving.
