- 1 lb ground beef (80/20 or lean)
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp onion powder
- 1 cup shredded lettuce (iceberg or romaine)
- ¼ cup diced onion
- ¼ cup sliced dill pickles
- 4 slices American or cheddar cheese
- 4 large flour tortillas (or low-carb wraps)
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tbsp sweet pickle relish
- 1 tsp yellow mustard
- 1 tsp white vinegar
- ¼ tsp garlic powder
- ¼ tsp onion powder
- Pinch of paprika
- Sesame seeds (for garnish)
- Shredded cheddar (optional)
- Sliced jalapeños (optional)
Instructions
- Heat a skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef, breaking it apart as it cooks. Season with salt, pepper, and onion powder. Brown for about 6-8 minutes.
- In a mixing bowl, combine mayonnaise, ketchup, sweet pickle relish, mustard, white vinegar, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika. Whisk until creamy.
- Toast tortillas in the skillet for about 30 seconds on each side until warm.
- Assemble by laying a warm tortilla flat, adding beef, sauce, lettuce, onions, pickles, and cheese in the center.
- For a crispy wrap, toast the assembled wrap seam-side down in the skillet for 2-3 minutes, flipping to brown both sides.
- Slice in half and sprinkle with sesame seeds or arrange on a platter. Serve warm.
Notes
Customize with jalapeños for heat or swap beef for chicken or plant-based proteins. Make the sauce ahead to save time.
