Description

A vibrant and crunchy salad featuring fresh broccoli, sweet raisins, and a creamy dressing, perfect for summer gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 4 cups fresh broccoli florets
  • 1/2 cup red onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup shredded carrots
  • 1/4 cup sunflower seeds
  • 1/2 cup raisins or cranberries
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the broccoli florets, red onion, carrots, sunflower seeds, and raisins.
  2. In a separate small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper.
  3. Pour the dressing over the vegetable mix and gently toss to coat.
  4. Chill the salad in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving for the best flavor.

Notes

For a lighter version, substitute mayonnaise with Greek yogurt. Make ahead for enhanced flavors, but add sunflower seeds just before serving.
