- 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal

- 2 tablespoons rainbow sprinkles or chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare your pan: Lightly grease an 8″x8″ or 9″x9″ square baking pan, or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.
- Melt the butter: In a large saucepan over low heat, melt the butter, stirring continuously until fully melted.
- Add the marshmallows: Mix in the mini marshmallows and stir until melted and smooth.
- Season with salt: Remove from heat and stir in the fine sea salt, if using.
- Mix in the Rice Krispies: Fold in the Rice Krispies gently using a spatula.
- Transfer to the pan: Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and press it evenly into the corners.
- Cool down: Let it sit at room temperature for about 10 minutes.
- Prepare the chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, combine chocolate chips and oil, microwaving in 30-second intervals until melted and glossy.
- Spread the chocolate: Pour the melted chocolate over the Rice Krispy layer and spread evenly.
- Garnish: Add sprinkles or nuts if desired before the chocolate sets.
- Set the treats: Let sit for at least 1 hour or refrigerate for 20-30 minutes to set.
- Slice and serve: Cut into 12-16 bars and enjoy!
