Description

A flavorful wrap featuring succulent chicken, crispy bacon, and a creamy sauce, all enveloped in a soft tortilla.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 4 medium breasts)
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 8 strips of bacon
  • 4 large flour tortillas (10-inch)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • ½ teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 cup shredded iceberg lettuce
  • 1 medium tomato, diced
  • ½ avocado, sliced

Instructions

  1. Pat chicken breasts dry and season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika.
  2. In a skillet, cook bacon over medium heat until slightly brown; transfer to a plate to drain.
  3. In the same skillet, add olive oil and sear chicken until golden, about 4 minutes per side. Cook until internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  4. Let chicken rest for 5 minutes, then slice into strips.
  5. Mix mayonnaise, sour cream, lemon juice, and Dijon mustard for sauce.
  6. Warm tortillas in a skillet for 15-20 seconds per side.
  7. Assemble wraps: spread sauce on tortillas, add chicken, bacon, cheese, lettuce, tomato, and avocado.
  8. Roll tortillas tightly and crisp in the skillet for 2 minutes per side.
  9. Slice in half and serve with extra sauce on the side.

Notes

Make-ahead by preparing chicken and sauce in advance. Store in airtight containers in the fridge.
