Description

A comforting crockpot dish featuring tender chicken and fluffy dumplings, simmered in a creamy broth perfect for chilly evenings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables (peas, carrots, corn, etc.)
  • 1 package (16 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Combine the shredded chicken, creamy chicken soup, chicken broth, and frozen vegetables in your crockpot. Stir gently to combine.
  2. Sprinkle in the garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well to ensure every bite is packed with flavor.
  3. Prepare the biscuit dough by cutting it into quarters or leaving it whole. Drop them on top of the mixture in the crockpot.
  4. Cover the pot and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours until the dumplings are fluffy.
  5. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

For a lighter version, consider substituting turkey for chicken. Can also be made vegetarian with vegetable broth and plant-based biscuits.
