Description
A delightful dish combining tender chicken breasts glazed with honey and garlic, served alongside golden-brown caramelized sweet potatoes.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 Chicken Breasts
- 1/4 cup Honey
- 4 cloves Garlic, minced
- 2 Sweet Potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 2 tbsp Olive Oil
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Peel and chop sweet potatoes into cubes. Toss them with olive oil, salt, and pepper until evenly coated. Spread them on a baking sheet in a single layer for even cooking.
- Bake sweet potatoes for 25-30 minutes or until caramelized and crispy, flipping halfway.
- In a mixing bowl, combine honey, minced garlic, salt, and pepper; stir until smooth.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken breasts for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Pour the honey-garlic mixture over the chicken and let it simmer for another 5-10 minutes until thoroughly cooked.
- Serve chicken over the caramelized sweet potatoes and drizzle with remaining sauce.
Notes
Consider adding fresh herbs or crushed red pepper flakes for extra flavor. Make-ahead tips: prep sweet potatoes and sauce separately, then cook when ready.
