Description

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup (45g) old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 1 tablespoon (12g) chia seeds
  • 1 cup (240ml) milk of choice
  • 1/4 cup (60g) Greek yogurt (plain or vanilla)
  • 1/2 cup (75g) mixed berries
  • 1 teaspoon (5ml) honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon (2.5ml) vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Measure the oats and chia seeds into a mason jar or mixing bowl.
  2. Add milk and yogurt, stirring well to combine.
  3. Incorporate honey or maple syrup, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt, mixing thoroughly.
  4. Gently fold in the mixed berries.
  5. Seal the jar and refrigerate for at least 6 hours or overnight.
  6. In the morning, stir, add milk if needed, and top with extra berries or nut butter if desired.

Notes

Make ahead for the week, alternating fruits or nuts for variety. Store in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
