- 1 box of angel food cake mix
- 1 cup of cold water
- 2 cups of heavy whipping cream
- 1/2 cup of powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 2 cups of mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
- 1 cup of crushed pineapple, drained
Instructions
- Preheat the oven according to the angel food cake mix instructions.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the angel food cake mix and cold water, and mix until well blended.
- Pour the batter into an ungreased tube pan and bake as directed on the package.
- Once baked, let the cake cool upside down in the pan.
- In another bowl, whip the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until soft peaks form.
- Once the cake is completely cool, remove it from the pan and slice it into layers.
- Layer the cake with whipped cream, mixed berries, and crushed pineapple.
- Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with whipped cream on top.
- Chill the cake in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
Notes
- For a lighter version, you can use low-fat whipped cream.
