- 1 bag (8.5 oz) Flamin’ Hot Cheetos
- 12 mozzarella string cheese sticks (cut in half)
- ½ cup (62.5 g) all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- 4 large eggs (room temperature, whisked)
- Parsley (chopped, for garnish)
- Ranch or blue cheese dressing (for dipping)
Instructions
- Crush the Cheetos into small, crumbly pieces.
- Set up two bowls: one with flour, salt, and garlic powder; another with whisked eggs.
- Dip each mozzarella stick first into the flour, then into the egg wash, and finally roll it into the crushed Cheetos.
- Place coated sticks on a baking sheet and freeze for 15 to 30 minutes.
- Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C) and cook sticks in a single layer for 6-8 minutes until golden brown. If baking, use the oven at the same temperature for 10-12 minutes.
Notes
For best results, do not skip the freezing step to maintain cheese structure during cooking. Serve with fresh veggies or a cheese platter.
