Description

Korean Baked Cauliflower is a deliciously savory and slightly sweet dish that combines the crispy texture of roasted florets with rich, bold flavors.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 head of cauliflower, cut into florets
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons gochujang (Korean chili paste)
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup or honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • Sesame seeds and green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Whisk together sesame oil, soy sauce, gochujang, maple syrup, minced garlic, and grated ginger in a mixing bowl until well combined.
  3. Toss the cauliflower florets in the sauce, ensuring each piece is fully coated.
  4. Spread the coated cauliflower on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper in a single layer.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes until tender and crisp around the edges.
  6. Remove from the oven and garnish with sesame seeds and green onions before serving.

Notes

Make-ahead tips: Prepare the sauce a day in advance. For a quicker option, use an air fryer at 380°F (193°C) for 15-20 minutes.
