Description
These sliders feature tender beef, spicy jalapeños, crispy turkey bacon, and sharp cheddar cheese, all enveloped in soft pretzel buns for an irresistible flavor experience.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound ground beef
- ½ yellow onion, diced (about ½ cup)
- ½ teaspoon garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon hamburger seasoning
- ½ teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- ½ teaspoon seasoned salt
- 1 package (9-count) King’s Hawaiian Pretzel Slider Buns
- 1 medium jalapeño, seeded and sliced
- 6 slices thick-cut turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled (about 1 cup)
- 1 cup (113 g) sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 cup (80 g) French’s crispy fried onions
- 1 recipe cowboy butter (without lemon juice), melted, divided
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and spray the baking dish with cooking spray.
- In a medium skillet over medium heat, combine the ground beef, diced onion, minced garlic, and hamburger seasoning. Add Worcestershire sauce and seasoned salt, and cook for 8-10 minutes until no longer pink, draining excess grease.
- Slice the pretzel buns in half and place the bottom halves in the baking dish. Drizzle cowboy butter, spread beef mixture, layer with jalapeños, turkey bacon, cheddar cheese, and fried onions, then top with bun halves.
- Brush the tops with cowboy butter, cover with aluminum foil, and bake for 15 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 3-5 minutes until golden brown.
- Remove from the oven, brush with remaining cowboy butter, slice into individual portions, and serve hot.
Notes
Make-ahead tips: Prepare the beef mixture up to two days in advance. Store leftovers tightly covered in the fridge for up to three days or freeze for up to three months.
