Description

Indulge in the magical combination of warm cinnamon rolls and creamy cheesecake, topped with fresh strawberries for a delightful treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 packet (2 1/4 tsp) instant yeast
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup warm milk (about 110°F)
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 large egg
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar (for filling)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup strawberry jam
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened (for filling)
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 4 oz cream cheese (for glaze), softened
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, softened (for glaze)
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract (for glaze)
  • 2 tbsp milk (as needed for consistency)

Instructions

  1. Make the Dough: In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, instant yeast, and salt. Stir in warm milk, melted butter, and egg until well combined. Gradually add remaining flour, mixing until the dough pulls away from the sides of the bowl.
  2. Prepare the Strawberry Cheesecake Filling: Beat together softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. Fold in finely chopped strawberries and strawberry jam.
  3. Prepare the Cinnamon Sugar Mixture: Whip together softened butter, brown sugar, and ground cinnamon to create a spreadable paste.
  4. Assemble the Rolls: Allow the dough to rise for about an hour. Roll it out into a rectangle, spread the cinnamon sugar mixture, dollop on the cheesecake filling, and roll tightly. Slice into 12 equal pieces.
  5. Bake the Rolls: Place in a greased baking dish and let rise for another 30 minutes. Bake at 350°F for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Make the Cream Cheese Glaze: Combine softened cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and enough milk to reach desired consistency; whisk until smooth.
  7. Glaze and Serve: Drizzle the glaze over the warm rolls and serve.

Notes

For make-ahead options, prepare the dough a day in advance and let it rise in the refrigerator overnight. You can also substitute different berries as desired.
