Description

Indulge in the richness of baked lobster tails with a buttery garlic marinade, perfect for special occasions.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 lobster tails (5 to 6 ounces each)
  • 5 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 lemon, cut into wedges
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 teaspoon smoked salt
  • 1 teaspoon crushed garlic
  • 2 tablespoons dried parsley

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 450ºF (230ºC) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare the garlic butter mixture by whisking together melted butter, smoked paprika, red pepper flakes, crushed garlic, and dried parsley in a mixing bowl.
  3. Set aside half of the butter mixture for garnish.
  4. Slice the top of each lobster tail shell lengthwise and carefully lift the meat out, placing it on top of the shell.
  5. Brush the lobster meat with the butter mixture and sprinkle with smoked salt.
  6. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 135ºF.
  7. Remove from the oven, drizzle with reserved butter mixture, and serve immediately with extra garlic butter and lemon wedges.

Notes

Thaw frozen lobster tails overnight in the refrigerator for best results. Avoid overcooking to prevent rubbery texture.
