Description

A delicious Turkish dish featuring succulent chicken breasts smothered in a rich and creamy white sauce infused with aromatic spices.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat until shimmering.
  2. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the pan, sauté until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Season the chicken breasts with paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper on both sides.
  4. Place chicken in the skillet and sear for 5-6 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  5. Pour in the heavy cream and reduce heat, allowing to simmer until chicken is cooked through, about 10-12 minutes.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve.

Notes

For a lighter version, substitute half-and-half or coconut milk for heavy cream. Chicken thighs can be used for added flavor.
