Description

Experience the comforting flavors of our bacon cheddar quiche with a crispy potato crust and creamy custard.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 2 cups smashed potatoes (for the crust)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped chives or parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Grease a 9-inch pie dish and press the smashed potatoes into the bottom and up the sides to form a crust.
  3. Whisk together the eggs and milk until frothy.
  4. Add shredded cheddar cheese and crumbled bacon, and season with salt and pepper.
  5. Pour the mixture into the potato crust.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until set and golden brown on top.
  7. Cool slightly and garnish with chives or parsley.
  8. Slice and serve warm.

Notes

Assemble the quiche the day before and store in the refrigerator; bake fresh the next day.
