- 12 Hawaiian rolls
- 12 slices of sliced ham
- 12 slices of Swiss or cheddar cheese
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 1 small onion (finely chopped)
- 1 tablespoon poppy seeds (optional)
- 1/2 cup butter (melted)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally and place the bottom halves in a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Layer the sliced ham over the bottom halves.
- Add the sliced cheese evenly over the ham.
- Prepare the mustard mixture by whisking together Dijon mustard, finely chopped onion, and poppy seeds. Spread this over the cheese.
- Place the top halves of the rolls back on and gently press down.
- Combine melted butter and garlic powder, then brush this over the tops of the rolls.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until the cheese is bubbling and the tops are golden brown.
Notes
Make ahead by preparing sliders a few hours in advance and refrigerating them. Adjust bake time if they go in cold. Feel free to customize with additional veggies or different mustard.
