Description

Delicious Cannoli Cookies combining the creamy richness of ricotta and the zest of orange, delivering a delightful twist on the classic Italian dessert.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup Ricotta Cheese
  • ½ cup Unsalted Butter, Softened
  • 1 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 2 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • ½ cup Chocolate Chips
  • 1 tablespoon Orange Zest

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream the ricotta cheese, softened butter, and granulated sugar in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Add the vanilla extract.
  4. Mix together the flour, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl.
  5. Combine the dry mixture into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  6. Add the chocolate chips and orange zest to the mixture.
  7. Scoop the dough onto a lined baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes until the edges are lightly golden.
  9. Cool on the baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack.
