Description
A comforting and creamy ranch chicken dish that combines simplicity with elegance, perfect for weeknight meals or special occasions.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, and sear for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
- Add the chicken broth and ranch seasoning mix to the same skillet, scraping the bottom with a wooden spoon to collect the browned bits. Simmer gently.
- Whisk in the heavy cream until the sauce thickens and becomes velvety.
- Return the chicken to the skillet and heat for another 2 minutes, allowing them to absorb the sauce.
- Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve immediately.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days or freeze for up to three months. Reheat gently to avoid curdling the cream.
