Description

A delightful one-pan meal featuring tender chicken, colorful vegetables, and perfectly cooked lo mein noodles in a savory sauce.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz lo mein noodles
  • 1 lb chicken breast, sliced
  • 2 cups mixed vegetables (bell peppers, carrots, broccoli)
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ginger, minced
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the noodles in boiling water according to package instructions, then drain and rinse with cold water.
  2. Heat sesame oil in a wok over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  3. Sauté minced garlic and ginger for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Cook the sliced chicken for 5-7 minutes until browned and cooked through.
  5. Add the mixed vegetables and sauté for 3-4 minutes until tender yet crunchy.
  6. Combine the cooked noodles, soy sauce, oyster sauce, salt, and pepper, mixing well for 2-3 minutes.
  7. Garnish with chopped green onions and serve immediately.
