Instructions
- Rinse the chicken wings under cold water, then pat them dry thoroughly with paper towels.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, salt, and pepper.
- Dredge each chicken wing in the flour mixture, coating them thoroughly.
- Heat your oil in a deep fryer or heavy pot until it reaches 375°F (190°C).
- Carefully place the wings in the hot oil, working in batches if necessary.
- Fry each batch for about 10 minutes or until they turn golden brown.
- Lift the wings from the oil using a slotted spoon, allowing excess oil to drain off.
- Toss them in your favorite sauce while still hot and serve immediately.
