- 2 ripe bananas
- 1/2 cup natural peanut butter
- 1 cup dark chocolate chips
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil (optional)
- Sea salt (optional)
Instructions
- Slice the bananas into one-inch thick rounds.
- Spread a generous layer of peanut butter on one banana slice and top with another slice.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Place the banana sandwiches on the baking sheet in a single layer.
- Freeze for about 60 minutes to firm up.
- Melt dark chocolate chips and coconut oil in a microwave-safe bowl.
- Dip each frozen banana sandwich into the chocolate and place back on the baking sheet.
- Sprinkle sea salt on top if desired.
- Freeze again for 30 minutes or until the chocolate sets.
