Description

A mouthwatering glazed ham with a sweet and savory flavor that transforms any gathering into a celebration.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 fully cooked ham (about 810 pounds)
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 1/4 cup pineapple juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).
  2. Score the surface of the ham in a diamond pattern, about 1/4 inch deep.
  3. Mix the brown sugar, honey, orange juice, pineapple juice, ground cloves, cinnamon, and ginger in a bowl.
  4. Brush the glaze over the ham, coating every crevice.
  5. Prepare the ham in a roasting pan and cover loosely with aluminum foil.
  6. Bake for approximately 15-18 minutes per pound, basting with glaze every 30 minutes.
  7. Remove the foil in the last 30 minutes to caramelize the glaze.
  8. Rest the ham for 15 minutes after reaching an internal temperature of 140°F.

Notes

Allow the ham to come to room temperature before cooking for even baking. Prepare the glaze in advance to save time.
