Description

Deliciously grilled shishito peppers with a smoky sweetness and playful crunch, perfect as an appetizer or party snack.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound shishito peppers
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 lemon (optional, for squeezing on top)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.
  2. Toss the shishito peppers in a medium-sized bowl with olive oil and sea salt until evenly coated.
  3. Grill the peppers for 5 to 7 minutes, turning occasionally with tongs until they blister and char.
  4. Serve them on a plate and drizzle with lemon juice, if desired.

Notes

You can prepare the peppers in advance and keep them covered before grilling. Try adding smoked paprika for extra flavor!
