Description

A delicious Honey Baked Ham with a sweet, sticky glaze that brings family and friends together.


Ingredients

  • 1 spiral sliced ham
  • 1 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • Cloves (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C).
  2. Whisk together honey, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, and apple cider vinegar in a mixing bowl until smooth.
  3. Place the ham cut-side down in a roasting pan.
  4. Brush the glaze generously over the ham.
  5. Cover loosely with aluminum foil.
  6. Bake for about 15 minutes per pound.
  7. Remove the foil during the last 30 minutes of baking for caramelization.
  8. Insert cloves if using before the final baking period.
  9. Rest the ham for 15 minutes before slicing.

Notes

Prepare glaze the night before for enhanced flavors. Consider using different types of sweeteners or glazes for variation.
