Description

Golden and fluffy, these No-Knead Buttermilk Dinner Rolls are the heart of any meal, offering a warm embrace with each bite.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 packet (2 1/4 teaspoons) instant yeast
  • 1 1/2 cups buttermilk
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Whisk together the flour, sugar, salt, and instant yeast until evenly mixed.
  2. Pour in the buttermilk and melted butter, gently mixing until a sticky dough forms.
  3. Cover the bowl tightly with plastic wrap and allow the dough to rise at room temperature for 12-18 hours.
  4. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease your baking dish.
  5. Turn out the dough onto a floured surface and shape it into roughly 12 rolls.
  6. Place the shaped rolls in the greased dish, cover with a towel, and let them rise for another 30 minutes.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes until the rolls are golden brown.
  8. Remove from the oven and cool slightly before serving warm.

Notes

You can prepare the dough the night before for enhanced flavor. If in a hurry, consider using an air fryer.
