Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, chopped
  • 1/4 cup strawberry jam
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×9-inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
  2. Combine the rolled oats, all-purpose flour, both sugars, and salt in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Pour in the melted butter and vanilla extract, mixing until you achieve a sandy texture.
  4. Press half of the oat mixture into the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
  5. Mix the chopped strawberries with strawberry jam and lemon juice, then layer evenly over the oat base.
  6. Sprinkle the remaining oat mixture over the strawberries.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes, until golden brown.
  8. Cool for about 10 minutes before slicing into squares.
